Keegan Stevenson

Coach

A Sault Ste. Marie native, Keegan played AAA hockey before suiting up for the Soo Thunderbirds in the NOJHL. He was drafted by the Guelph Storm in the sixth round of the OHL Draft and earned the Most Improved Player award. From there, his career reached the highest levels of the game — attending the Vancouver Canucks NHL training camp, playing with the Toronto Marlies in the AHL, and capping his playing days at Acadia University (AUAA) where he won Rookie of the Year. Keegan now brings that elite experience back home, having coached hockey schools and the U18 AAA Soo Jr. Greyhounds for the past three years.

Lucas Theriault

Coach

Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Lucas developed his passion for hockey at a young age, playing both minor and junior hockey locally before advancing to the Niagara IceDogs in the Ontario Hockey League. He went on to compete for four years in U SPORTS Men's Hockey at York University, where he earned a degree in Kinesiology. With a strong foundation in both high-level competition and sport science, Lucas brings a performance-driven approach to training, helping athletes build speed, confidence, and compete level that translates directly to the ice. Having completed his first year of teachers college, Lucas is continuing his path in education and is passionate about developing and mentoring young athletes both on and off the ice.
